Privacy

The short version: your music is private by default, we collect the minimum needed to run the service, and we don't sell anything about you to anyone.

What we collect

Your account. An email address and a password, or your name and email from Google if you sign in with Google. That's what identifies your account.

Your work. The audio, artwork, lyrics, notes, and project details you upload or write. Audio lives in private storage — it can only be streamed by you, or by someone opening a tape link you created. Cover artwork is served from a public address so pages load quickly; don't use cover art for anything you need to keep secret.

Billing. Payments are handled by Stripe. Your card details go to Stripe directly and never touch our servers; we keep only your subscription status.

Usage. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which is cookieless and doesn't track you across sites. It tells us things like which pages get visited — not who you are.

What we don't do

We don't sell your data. We don't train anything on your music. We don't listen to your uploads. Nobody hears a song unless you hand them a tape link — and you can turn a link off at any time.

Cookies

We use cookies only to keep you signed in. No advertising or cross-site tracking cookies, ever.

Leaving, and taking your work with you

You can download any take — or a whole project as a zip — at any time. Deleting your account from Settings permanently removes your files, your projects, and the account itself. Trash empties on a 30-day schedule.
