Sonic Station

How it works

Project management made for artists, by an artist.

  1. 01

    Start a project

Create a record to hold the whole release.

  2. 02

    Add your tracks

Drop each song into the project as you go.

  3. 03

    Add a cover

    Give the record its artwork.

  4. 04

    Work on them

Stack up takes, notes, and lyrics on every track.

  5. 05

    Full version control

Keep every version, and roll back to any of them anytime.

  6. 06

    Download a zip

Export the whole project as a zip for easy distribution.

The workspace

Try it right here.

Expand a track to stack up versions, tick off notes, and set which take plays live.

F.A.Q
Is my music private?
Yes. Everything you upload is private by default. The only way anyone hears a song is through a tape link you create — and you can turn a link off at any time.
Can people listen without an account?
Yes. A tape opens right in the browser — no login, no app to install.
What formats can I upload?
MP3 on the free plan. Members can upload any audio format, including WAV and FLAC.
Do I own my files? Can I get them out?
Always. Your music is yours — download any take, or a whole project as a zip, whenever you like.
What happens if I cancel my membership?
Your account moves to the free plan and nothing disappears overnight. Every project stays put for 90 days; after that your three most recent projects stay active and older ones move to trash, where they wait another 30 days — plenty of time to download or restore them.
